Welcome to Global Basketball Opportunities ("GBO," "we," "our," or "us"). By purchasing any recruiting package, submitting information, or using our website or services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or use our services.

1. Eligibility

Our services are available only to basketball players who meet all of the following requirements:

  • At least 16 years of age (players under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the purchase and consent to these Terms).

  • Eligible to play professional basketball.

  • Not currently on a high school basketball team.

  • Not currently playing NCAA, NAIA, JUCO, or collegiate basketball.

  • Not currently under contract with an NBA, G League, or overseas professional basketball team.

  • Not prohibited by any contract or governing body from pursuing professional opportunities.

Global Basketball Opportunities reserves the right to refuse or cancel service if a player is found to be ineligible.

2. Services Provided

Global Basketball Opportunities provides basketball exposure and recruiting services, including but not limited to:

  • Reviewing player information

  • Reviewing highlight videos

  • Creating player profiles

  • Presenting player profiles and videos to international coaches, scouts, agents, and professional basketball organizations

  • Communicating with interested organizations regarding player availability

Global Basketball Opportunities is an independent recruiting and exposure service. We are not employed by, affiliated with, or acting on behalf of any professional basketball league or team unless expressly stated.

3. No Guarantee of Placement

Purchasing our services does not guarantee:

  • A professional contract

  • A tryout

  • A roster position

  • Employment

  • A scholarship

  • A visa

  • Playing time

  • Salary

  • Contact from a coach or team

All recruiting and hiring decisions are made solely by the basketball organizations reviewing player profiles.

4. Player Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information.

  • Submit your own highlight video or content you have permission to use.

  • Maintain current contact information.

  • Respond promptly to legitimate basketball opportunities.

  • Notify us if your basketball status changes.

Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

5. Authorization

By submitting your information, you grant Global Basketball Opportunities permission to:

  • Review your basketball materials.

  • Share your player profile.

  • Share your highlight videos.

  • Share your basketball résumé.

  • Share photographs you provide.

  • Present your information to basketball teams, coaches, scouts, and agents worldwide.

You retain ownership of your content.

6. Fees and Payment

All fees are due at checkout unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All recruiting package purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

If a separate Success Fee Agreement is executed between you and Global Basketball Opportunities, that agreement will govern any commission or success-based compensation.

7. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, graphics, marketing materials, and written content are the property of Global Basketball Opportunities and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Basketball Opportunities shall not be liable for:

  • Lost income

  • Lost contracts

  • Lost opportunities

  • Travel expenses

  • Visa denials

  • Team decisions

  • Injuries

  • Career interruptions

  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable recruiting package.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Global Basketball Opportunities, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses arising from:

  • Information you submitted

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately if:

  • False information is submitted.

  • Fraudulent activity is detected.

  • Abusive or threatening conduct occurs.

  • These Terms are violated.

Termination under this section does not entitle the player to a refund.

11. Force Majeure

Global Basketball Opportunities shall not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, labor disputes, government actions, internet outages, pandemics, or similar events.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation.

If a dispute cannot be resolved, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).

The arbitration shall take place in North Carolina unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

Each party shall be responsible for its own legal fees unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator or required by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

Global Basketball Opportunities may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms become effective immediately upon posting to our website.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
